The Amtryke Therapeutic Tricycle is about abilities, not disabilities. The goal is to provide access to all the classic benefits of riding a bike: mobility, strength, exercise, coordination, interaction with family and friends, and just pure fun!

Amtryke makes foot trykes, hand trykes, and hand & foot trykes in a wide range of sizes—all at a low cost. Nearly every rider can be successful, no matter their diagnosis, through our full line of highly adjustable trykes and myriad of adaptive accessories.

Using the tryke at home or during therapy often builds strength, endurance, and self-confidence. It also provides another form of self-mobility for those who use assistive devices such as a wheelchair, crutches or walker. Each tryke can be quickly and easily adjusted without tools to fit many riders.

Cost

Every bike is customized to fit the specific needs for each child. Once the child has been fitted, the family will receive a price quote for the bike and work out a plan with the RSR team to purchase the bike for the child.

Insurance does not cover the cost of the bike. The more money a family can contribute, the quicker the child may receive a bike. Red Star Riders has many ideas to raise money, and we can help come up with Fundraising ideas to get you started!
